Just in time for the start of Spring, a mild Pacific air mass will invade the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas today on through this weekend to produce temperatures near to even above normal for this time of year.
A weakening cold front will move through the northern Mid Atlantic this morning with a few widely scattered showers. By noon, high pressure will begin to take hold with scattered cloud cover and winds from the west at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 50's for highs this afternoon.
High pressure will be in control tonight on through Saturday afternoon. Scattered cloud cover can be expected through the period. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph, veering to the southwest by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures on Friday will range from the lower to mid 30's for lows and lower to mid 50's for highs. Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid to upper 30's for lows and upper 50's to lower 60's over the interior and lower to mid 60's along the coast and in urban areas for highs.

Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30's for lows and upper 40's to lower 50's for highs on Sunday. On Monday, temperatures will range from the mid 20's for lows and upper 30's for highs.
An area of low pressure well off the New Jersey coast will produced unsettled weather conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect increasing cloud cover with periods of showers at times on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Windy conditions can be expected as well leading to rather cool, wet, and raw conditions. Temperatures will range from the mid 20's for lows and upper 30's to lower 40's for highs.
