More Snow On The Way

Here we go again!

Another area of low pressure will track off the Delaware coast and then lift northeast towards the New England coastal waters tomorrow.  This low pressure system will rapidly intensify once east of New England leading to snowfall developing from scattered light snow to organized heavy snowfall over southeastern New England.  The forecast area will be in between these phases with a light to moderate snowfall expected.  The immediate coast will have some boundary layer issues leading to rain mixing in with the snow initially and a slow rate of snowfall accumulation, thus lower snowfall amounts.  There will be a sharp cut off from the light to moderate snowfall in the forecast area and the intense snowfall accumulations just to the east over Massachusetts.
