• Former Monmouth County Police Sergeant Sentenced to Five Years in Prison After Ghost Gun and Drug Investigation (TAPinto.net) — A major Monmouth County police corruption and ghost gun case, announced out of Freehold, ended with former Middletown Sgt. David Ringkamp receiving a five-year state prison sentence. Investigators say the probe, which began at a Pennsylvania gun show, uncovered illegal ghost gun kits, cocaine, meth pills and large quantities of marijuana tied to a Millstone vape shop owner.
