• Mail-In Ballots Now Available For Monmouth County Voters (patch.com) — Freehold-area voters can now request and pick up mail-in ballots for the Nov. 3 General Election at the Clerk of Elections Office on Halls Mill Road. Residents are walked through options to apply online, by mail, or in person, along with key deadlines and resources to ensure their ballot is completed and returned correctly.
   

• Manchester Gymnastics Coach Convicted of Sexual Assault Against Former Athletes (memesita.com) — A former youth gymnastics coach from Manchester has been convicted in Monmouth County Superior Court of sexually assaulting three teenage athletes in the 1990s and 2000s, and is being held at the county correctional facility in Freehold. The jury's verdict follows a multi-agency investigation involving Manchester and Shrewsbury police, with sentencing set for December as the judge weighs how long he will remain behind bars.
