High pressure will produce excellent weather conditions through tomorrow afternoon but a series of disturbances will produce periods of light snow through Monday morning. While accumulations will be light, the threat for snow showers will be a rather pesky risk.
Scattered clouds can be expected today through tomorrow morning as high pressure slides over and to the north of the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas. Winds will be from the northwest veering to the north at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 30's for highs this afternoon and fall into the upper 10's to lower 20's for lows tomorrow morning.
A series of low pressure systems will pass well to the southeast of the New Jersey coast tomorrow night into Sunday morning and Sunday evening into Monday morning. The snow associated with these low pressure systems will be light with accumulations of a trace to two inches over the northern interior and one to three inches for New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas and the coasts for each disturbance. Most locations only will have two to three inches of new snow by Monday morning. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 30's for highs on Saturday afternoon. Temperatures on Sunday will range from the lower to mid 20's for lows and mid to upper 30's for highs.

High pressure will be in control Monday afternoon through Tuesday with scattered cloud cover. An area of low pressure is expected to lift north from the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday into Thursday with periods of snow over the interior and a wintery mix along the coast. Snow fall accumulations may be significant, especially over the interior. Temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will range from the lower to mid 30's for highs and upper 10's to lower 20's for lows. Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 10's to lower 20's for lows and lower to mid 30's for highs. On Thursday, temperatures will range from the lower to mid 20's for lows and mid to upper 30's for highs.
