A 21-year-old Freehold Borough resident was killed Wednesday morning.

A 21-year-old Freehold Borough man was killed in an accident at Freehold Cartage, Inc. on Wednesday morning while he was working.
Ivan Robles-Molina was attempting to shut a door on a recycling container when he was crushed by a tractor-trailer that was backing up, according to Marc LeMieux, director of the Major Crimes Bureau in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
The driver of the vehicle was unable to see Robles-Molina, LeMieux said. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating why Robles-Molina did not hear or see the truck backing up.
