2 Atlantic County Restaurants Had Workers Without Masks: AG
Olive Garden and Sakura Japanese Steakhouse, both in Mays Landing, received fines.

MAYS LANDING, NJ — Two Atlantic County restaurants received fines for allowing employees on their premises without masks, according to the Office of Attorney General. Olive Garden and Sakura Japanese Steakhouse — both in Mays Landing — were fined $500 each for violating the State order.
The OAG investigated both restaurants April 23 and sent them letters last Monday about the violations. The agency gave both businesses 90 days to appeal or explain the violations.
Governor Phil Murphy ordered the closure of "non-essential" businesses March 16. New Jersey restaurants have only been allowed to operate through takeout and delivery since then. Read more: NJ Coronavirus: Bars, Restaurants, Theaters To Shut

Additionally, the OAG fined Community Liquors in Ventnor $250 for allowing customers inside without masks.

Atlantic County reported 33 new coronavirus cases Sunday, including a 1-month-old boy. The County has reported 1,778 total cases, 112 deaths and 501 residents cleared as recovered.
