9/11 Anniversary: New Jersey Residents Recall Nation's Darkest Day

Thirteen years ago the United States was attacked by a group of terrorists who hijacked planes and flew them into buildings in New York City and Washington D.C. with another crash landing in a field in western Pennsylvania.

We now recall that day simply as 9/11.

Each year the anniversary spurs ceremonies, sadness, and memories as those old enough to remember the events of that day can never forget where they were, what they were doing or how it impacted me.

The video attached to this article was created by Long Valley Patch for the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. While it is now three years after the video was made, the emotions and memories remain the same.
