Absecon Driving School Teacher Touched Student Inappropriately: Police
Jay Vyas, an instructor at Mainstream Driving School, was charged with criminal sexual contact after touching a 16-year-old during a lesson.
ABSECON, NJ — An instructor at an Absecon driving school was charged after touching a student inappropriately, police said.
Jay Vyas, an instructor at Mainstream Driving School, was charged with criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment on Nov. 24, Absecon police said.
Police said they were notified on Nov. 24 of an incident involving the inappropriate touching of a minor.

An investigation revealed that Vyas, 69, of Egg Harbor Township, touched a 16-year-old girl during a lesson, police said.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing, police said.
