Atlantic City Man Assaulted Mom, Fired Gun At Her: Police
The man dropped a loaded gun as he was arrested, police said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — An Atlantic City man was arrested on April 16 after being wanted for assaulting his mother and firing a gun at her, Atlantic City police said.
Kevin Robinson, 31, assaulted his mother and fired a handgun at her while she fled into a bedroom on March 26, police said.
On April 16, police learned that Robinson was in the area of South Carolina and Baltic Avenues. Robinson fled on foot and resisted arrest once apprehended. He dropped a loaded gun, holding hollow-point ammunition, while being handcuffed. Robinson also had a small amount of cocaine on him.

Robinson is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a defaced firearm, certain person not to possess a weapon, possession of CDS, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
Robinson was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
