Atlantic County Man Stole $1K In Floor Mats From PA Business: PD

The man is facing multiple charges for stealing more than a half dozen floor mats from a Newtown business, police said.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An Atlantic County man is facing multiple charges for stealing more than a half dozen floor mats, with a value of more than $1,000, from a Pennsylvania business, police said.

The theft was reported in July, when police were called to the Newtown Yardley Road building for a report of the theft of seven floor mats.

An investigation led police to Jennaro Riccardo, 71. Riccardo was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct.

He was arraigned Sept. 20. Trial is schedule for January. Police listed Riccardo's residence as Egg Harbor, and it was not immediately clear whether he lives in Egg Harbor City or Township.
