A New Year Begins; Start it With an Attitude of Gratitude

So the year comes to a close and another one begins. We should all be thankful to experience that alone. Through all our trials and tribulations, we are here to share and live our lives. We all have to make the best of the hand we have been dealt. Always remember that the only one who can change your life, make your life better, make it all that it can be is YOU.

I, personally, am looking forward to a wonderful 2013. Let's start it off right with a positive attitude and a chance to make some goals and move forward, no matter what area you want to do that in.

Perform a Random Act of Kindness, RAK: Buy someone a cup of coffee. Say hello to a stranger. Pay for someone's toll on the road behind you. See what that feels like.

Get out and do things. Here are just a few of my events coming up early this year.

Jan . 4: Locally we have a Ray Tyler event at Freestyle Dance and Fitness in Northfield, 9 p.m. Open Mic Night and entertainment. If you have ever been to one of Ray's events, you know how special it is. Details on my Facebook Page under events.

Also on Jan. 4, you can join me in NYC as Foxx Code Magazine re-releases the brand new issue!

You may remember that the principal partners lost their home in Hurricane Sandy and had to rebuild. They are now hosting a re-release party at the Empire Hotel in NYC at 9 p.m. This is going to be awesome.

Jan. 18: Join me at my annual "Cross the Line" event. This is where I bring the business and entertainment community together to mix and mingle. You need to know me to get in! Foundation Room of the Showboat, 6:30-8:30 p.m. You may even find some Patch surprises at this event. Details on my web page. (see below)

AND, on March 28: Stay tuned for details on our first ever Fashion Event!!!! Clothing designers, local fashion shops, 4 A STAR models, jewelry and accessories will walk down the runway.

These are just a few things we can look forward to, I can look forward to. What are your dreams and visions for 2013? Make it a banner year. With the world changing in many different ways, it is up to us to be the difference. Be the change you want to see in the coming year !
