Could Jessica Alba be the Mom Next Door?
Jennifer Auer and other mom bloggers recently interviewed Jessica Alba about motherhood, making movies, and trying to successfully balance both.

Could Jessica Alba, star of Spy Kids: All The Time In The World in 4D, really be the mom next door?
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jessica Alba to interview her about motherhood and her daughter Honor, making movies, and how she is successfully balancing both.
Now granted, Jessica was elsewhere and I was at Patriot Park during the interview and yes there were other mom bloggers in on the conversation :). Still I had my moment to talk with her one-on-one and what I learned may surprise you.

Why Jessica Alba could be the mom next door
- Her 2-year-old doesn't always eat what she feeds her.
- Honor loves fruit, especially ones she can eat by herself like grapes, apples, and pears. Jessica relies on it as her go-to snack because it's healthy and will keep Honor occupied for a while.
- Honor loves pasta. What kid doesn't? :)
- Being a mom takes priority in her life. Like many moms, since having Honor, Jessica has worked less.
- Weekends are family time. Work, blackberries and text messages are ignored. It's playtime for the family.
- Their favorite activities are swimming, dressing up, and playing at the park.
- Her second pregnancy has been more challenging than the first. If you have more than one child you can agree. The tummy pops sooner, the aches and pains begin earlier, you have less energy and you feel more guilt. After all, you still want the first child to feel important but the child on the way needs your care too.
- Pregnancy cravings? Ever have them? This time around, Jessica Alba has been craving watermelons. As a Galloway resident, you could probably find her in
- She wants what we all want for our kids: for them to grow up well-rounded and well-educated. She believes strongly that a college education will provide them with experiences that will enrich them later in life.
- She also wants to be the parent we all want to be. She wants to be the parent that forgets about yesterday, puts aside tomorrow, and only focuses on the here and now. Those are the moments she enjoys the most.
The here and now for Jessica Alba is her new movie Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D.
