66% of grandparents have never celebrated Grandparents Day
Are your children's grandparents included in that statistic?
Change that this weekend!
Glazed Over Pottery Studio, Atlantic County Moms, and Jersey Family Fun are hosting a Grandparent and Me Playdate this Sunday, Sept. 11, from 1-3 p.m. What better way to celebrate Grandparent's Day than with a special playdate? Grandparents and grandchildren will paint a special plate or bowl together. When the afternoon is done they will have more than smiles; they will have a project that will serve as a constant reminder of the special bond they share.
Grandparents can't make it? Then attend with your child and bring the project to the grandparents at a later date.
Early bird tickets are available for $10 for a plate project and $15 for a bowl project and are available until 1O a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8. The ticket price includes all instruction, painting, glazes, firing, packing for 1 adult and 1 child to make a project. Tickets can be purchased for additional siblings to work on the same project. Projects will be available for pickup at the Glazed Over Pottery Studio a few days after the event. Tickets can be purchased online at http://grandparentandmeplaydate.eventbrite.com/. Space is limited so please register early.
When the Early Bird Tickets end, you can reserve your spot by calling 609-634-5140 and then pay at the door. Tickets paid for at the door are $15 for the smaller project and $20 for the larger project. Only cash will be accepted at the door.
