I Have Been Blessed in My Business Life and My Personal Life

Today, as I celebrate my 47^th birthday, I’d like to use the special occasion as the inspiration for my first business blog for the Galloway Patch; Cherish life’s blessings and nurture them for all the opportunity they may bring seemed like a good topic.

I find this to be true in my life and in my business. I also believe this philosophy applies to doing business in Galloway Township.

In my personal life, I have been blessed with a beautiful and loving wife who understands me and has the patience and adaptability to persevere through all the ups downs of my business life.

Together we nurture two beautiful and inquisitive children, ages 2 and 7, that inspire and motivate me professionally each and every day of their happy little lives. And, it was particularly ironic that the Galloway Patch reached out to me to create this blog and requested my first submission for today, the day I was blessed to first meet my parents and grow from the years of their nurturing.

In Galloway Township we have so much opportunity to nurture. Whether you operate a bricks and mortar business or have chosen the Township as the place to hang your professional shingle, there are so many reasons to count your blessings for all the area has to offer.

As the home to Stockton College, Atlantic City Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus, Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital, many medical related professional offices, assisted living centers, and many professional offices, we are blessed with a huge increase in our daytime population.

Businesses and professionals who continuously nurture the thousands of added consumers that come to work, study, and visit hospital patients here in Galloway everyday will undoubtedly benefit from these consumers who are already in the neighborhood.

In other words, if we target the Galloway workforce, student population and visitors efficiently and effectively your business or professional practice will grow.

With 5 player friendly top-flight golf courses, Blue Heron Pines, Seaview (Pines & Bay), Vineyards at Renault Winery, and the Pomona Golf Club, we should consider ourselves fortunate (blessed) for the hundreds of thirsty and hungry players these great golf courses attract every day.

Our food and beverage business that understand how to capitalize on (nurture) this captive market benefit from the quick breakfasts and lunches or relaxing dinners and drinks that golfers are apt to enjoy before or after a good round.

As the home of the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Noyes Museum, Stockton Performing Arts Center, Historic Smithville Village, Seaview Resort & Spa, major golf tournaments, many antique centers, and with world-class hospitality and gaming at our doorstep, we have the good fortune (blessing) of attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors through our cultural, shopping, entertainment, sports and eco-tourism attractions.  

These visitors can be leveraged (nurtured) to become regular customers for our businesses.

The good fortune and fulfillment I have enjoyed throughout my personal and professional life are surely the by-product of God’s blessings combined with my naturally nurturing and enterprising spirit.
