Jersey Premier Soccer To Hold 'High School Age Program' Tryouts

JPS has been created in partnership with Ocean City FC and Global Premier Soccer to provide more opportunities for players and help fulfill their potential

JPS will be holding tryouts for its ‘JPS High School Program’ on the following dates/times at Atlantic Christian School: 391 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234:

Sunday September 23, 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Sunday September 30, 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Sunday October 7, 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Tryouts will be will be for the following age groups:
u15 Boys (born between 8/1/97 – 7/31/98)
u15 Girls (born between 8/1/97 – 7/31/98)
u16 Boys (born between 8/1/96 – 7/31/97)
u17 Boys (born between 8/1/95 – 7/31/96)

The JPS High School Program has been designed for the committed player in the southern NJ to continue to play club soccer after the high school season, providing continued development and preparing players for the following High School season and college soccer.

All players in the ‘JPS High School Program’ with aspirations of playing college soccer will be given support on the college recruitment process from highly experienced college mentors.

Example team timeline and participation will be as follows:

Late Fall after High School season (late October – November) – Training and two College Showcase Tournaments
Rest Period (December)
Winter season (January & February) – Indoor training
Spring season (March – May) – Training, League play (MAPS/JAGS/EDP), two College Showcase Tournaments, State Cup play
Summer season (June) – Training, two College Showcase Tournaments
