Welcome to “Our little Blog Patch” from Ava Holly.
I'd like to take this wonderful opportunity to say thank you to the Patch..... as I feel truly blessed to have them as part of my business family and the opportunities they have given to me. Be thankful for what you have, no matter how big or small. An attitude of gratitude will go a long way in your lifetime.

Let me introduce you to World Tavern Poker. Ok.... why? Well, if you like the game of poker, you will love World Tavern Poker because it is absolutely FREE ! So if you don't already know about this great group .... let's explore it some ....
World Tavern Poker is a National Group. On pretty much any given night, you can check out a location to play “hold 'em” Poker , not only locally, but anywhere across the country. It's pretty cool. The events typically take place at a local eatery, tavern or grille. The establishments there count on you being a customer that evening while you enjoy a free game of poker.

What's cool is that you could actually form a whole new circle of friends and in our case, family, as you bond with the local poker community. There are points and rankings given out for your play. You can actually earn seats at the big World Series game, or at any of the big competitions by your play in a World Tavern event.
We got involved to have something interesting to do on a Thursday evening. That has expanded to a whole new hobby and a new circle of friends and, as I stated previously, family. The person that is in charge of this area is just awesome. His name is “G”.Yep, that's his real name. He is one of the coolest people you could meet.
He and his wife have become more than just poker buddies to us. This past year, the National World Tavern Poker Convention was held at the House of Blues, bringing over 500 people out to Atlantic City. It was a night of food, fun and awards as we got to meet people from all over at the National Event.
You can check out World Tavern Poker at the Diamond Diner on Mondays and Thursdays. Cavalino Nero on Wednesdays and at Strike Zone on Fridays.
