DAR Genealogy Workshop Comes to Ocean City Sept. 27
Learn how to define, locate, prove and document family lines for application to National Societies of the DAR/SAR, or your own enrichment.

The General Lafayette Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution together with the Ocean City Historical Museum present a Genealogy Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m..
The free and open to the public event will be in the Senior Room of the Ocean City Community Center, Ocean City. The event is for those interested in finding their ancestors who served during the Revolution or for those seeking to learn more about their own genealogy.
Please bring your paperwork, documents, and your own devices, iPads, laptops etc., flash drive; but personal computer is not a necessity.

DAR/SAR members will guide you at your level of progress and you can anticipate that you will be able to find another generation. There will be work stations for each level of research as well as worktable space to sit and review what you have and what you need to further research.
NOTE: Priority will be given to DAR/SAR prospective members.

Guided museum tours and light refreshments will be hosted at the OC Historical Museum.

*Eligibility for membership in the NSDAR: any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background and can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible.
