The man has a previous conviction for the same charge, according to authorities.

CAMDEN, NJ — An Egg Harbor City man admitted Tuesday to possessing child porn. Jack Underwood has a prior conviction for the same crime, according to U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito.
Underwood, already a registered sex offender, faces 10 to 20 years in prison, plus a $250,000 fine, officials said. He also faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison for violating his supervised release from his previous conviction. His sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 21.
The man used a social-networking site that lets users interact and exchange pictures and videos. The site reported several caches linked to Underwood from September 2017 through March 2018, officials said.

Authorities searched Underwood's home in December, finding more images of child sexual abuse on his phone, officials said. Underwood served 54 months in prison and was placed on a lifetime of supervised release for his previous charge. The new conviction violates his release.
