Egg Harbor Township Man Fatally Shot At Home: Prosecutor

The 24-year-old man had multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — An Egg Harbor Township man was fatally shot Thursday night inside his home, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced. Authorities found Arturo Barrera III, 24, dead at the scene.

Police received a 911 call at 11:20 p.m. about a shooting at 109 Vermont Avenue. Authorities found that Barrera, a resident, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Officials will perform an autopsy Friday. No arrests have been made, and this incident appears to be isolated, the ACPO said.
