Galloway Man Charged With Striking Jogger, Driving Away
The jogger suffered 'serious' injuries to her torso and legs, Galloway police said.
GALLOWAY, NJ — A Galloway man was charged Saturday with striking a jogger with his vehicle and then fleeing the scene two days prior. Justin Sacchinelli caused a woman to suffer "serious" injuries to her torso and legs, police said.
The incident took place at about 8 p.m. Thursday on N Leipzig Road and Moss Mill Road, police said. Officials took the victim to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Division.
Sacchinelli, 30, of Galloway, was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision resulting in serious bodily injuries, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and numerous motor vehicle violations. He was released on a summons.

Galloway police received information from an anonymous source to find the suspect.
