An Excessive Heat Warning in effect for portions of South Jersey expired at 8 p.m. Monday night.
An Orange Air Quality Alert will once again be in effect for Tuesday.
Residents are advised to reschedule strenuous activities, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water.

The Air Quality Alert means air pollution is expected to reach dangerous levels for sensitive groups, including children, the elderly and people suffering from asthma, heart disease and other lung diseases.
