NJ Woman Charged With Murder In Christmas Shooting Of Her Husband
Marylue Wigglesworth is accused of shooting and killing her husband, David Wigglesworth, on Christmas night, Atlantic County officials said.

MAYS LANDING, NJ — A Mays Landing woman is charged with murder in the Christmas night shooting death of her husband, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Marylue Wigglesworth, 51, is accused of shooting and killing David B. Wigglesworth, 57, both of Mays Landing, officials said.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Dec. 25, the Township of Hamilton police responded to a home on the 5200 block of Mays Landing Somers Point Road, officials said.

David Wigglesworth was found with a gunshot wound, officials said, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials confirmed Tuesday that an autopsy by Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined David Wigglesworth's cause of death to be a single gunshot wound and the manner of death to be homicide.

Marylue Wigglesworth was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Officials gave no details regarding the shooting or why she is suspected.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Township of Hamilton Police Department are actively investigating.
