• Matriarchs' inspiration help Atlantic Cape culinary students cook up winning dishes (breakingac.com) — A Galloway Township freshman at Atlantic Cape's Academy of Culinary Arts just earned a $7,500 scholarship with a tomato bisque inspired by her mother, while also running a small home-based cake business in town. Alongside a Toms River classmate, she competed in the Vincent DeFinis Restaurant Gala Scholarship cooking competition, where judges evaluated taste, technique, and presentation.
