Popular Jersey Shore Wedding Ballroom To Get $250K Renovation

GALLOWAY, NJ — A popular wedding venue has announced a $250K renovation of its ballroom, set to be complete in March 2024.

Seaview Hotel and Golf Club announced the renovation of its Bayview Ballroom in a news release, and it will be finished just in time for the spring wedding season.

Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, a nine-time The Knot “Best of Weddings” winner, is renovating its beloved ballroom to include a brand-new carpet with warm blue and cream undertones, new wall sconces, new light grey wall vinyl, wraparound board and batten, plus new hardwood flooring in the pre-function space and a full renovation of the Bayview Ballroom’s restrooms.

“The wedding industry is everchanging, so we have to be as well,” said Michael Tidwell, Seaview, A Dolce Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing. “The renovations to the Bayview Ballroom are meant to modernize the space as well as provide couples with an elevated and elegant backdrop with subtle-but-noticeable accents to complement their décor and personal style. These updates are being made to ensure Seaview remains one of the top-rated South Jersey wedding venues for years to come.”

The Bayview Ballroom is Seaview’s second largest venue at 6,140 sq ft, 94’ in length, 67’ width and 14’ ceilings. The ballroom comfortably fits up to 350 for a seated wedding reception and 470 for a banquet.

“Couples adore the elegance and flexibility of the multi-use space, from the ballroom and its adjacent terrace overlooking Reeds Bay, the Atlantic City skyline, and the historic Bay course, to the 2,500 sq ft pre-function space, often used for cocktail hour,” according to the news release.

The hotel has long been a preferred wedding venue in South Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area.
