More than 50 varieties of highly-prized native trees, shrubs and
perennials are available for pre-order in conjunction with the sixth annual
UUCSJS Native Plant Swap. Order forms as well as information on the native plant swap are available online at www.uucsjs.org.
Native plants are
genetically adapted for our area and provide food for fauna in the form
of nuts, seeds, berries, fruits, leaves, pollen and nectar. The selection being
offered includes 10 different trees, 20 shrubs and 25 perennials, available on
a first come, first served basis.
The deadline for pre-ordering and submitting payment is April 1st. Plants may be picked up on May 9th or during the plant swap on May 10th at the UU Center at 75 S. Pomona Road at the corner of Liebig Street.
