Surveillance Camera Catches Galloway Man Stealing From Car: Police
Michael Foster aka Tyrone Foster, 30, ran from police and tried to remove articles of clothing to alter his appearance, police said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Police surveillance cameras caught a Galloway man stealing items from a car in Atlantic City, police said.
Michael Foster, aka Tyrone Foster, 30, tried to flee the scene after police tried to speak with him, according to an Atlantic City Police Department news release.
Foster was caught taking items from a car on the beach block of Belmont Avenue and then walking to the Boardwalk at 2:15 a.m. on June 9, police said.

Officers Michael Kragh and William Luengas-Gonzalez responded to the area and attempted to talk to Foster, who began to run, leading police on a foot pursuit, police said.
As he ran, Foster attempted to remove articles of clothing to alter his appearance, police said.

Officer Atiqul Islam assisted and Foster was apprehended in the back of a residence on the beach block of Texas Avenue, police said.
Foster was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division as a precaution as he was breathing heavily and unable to respond to police after being apprehended, police said.
Police learned that Foster had an active warrant for his arrest under an alias.
Foster was charged with theft, obstruction of justice and hindering apprehension, police said. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The stolen items were recovered and returned to their owner, police said.
