Teen Airlifted After Bicycle Crash In Somers Point: Police
The 14-year-old Pleasantville teen was critically injured after a collision with a car on a bike path, Somers Point police said.
SOMERS POINT, NJ — A teenage bicyclist was critically injured after colliding with a car on a Somers Point bike path, Somers Point police said.
A bicyclist and car collided at Ocean Heights Avenue and the bike path shortly before 6 p.m. on Nov. 5, police said.
The bicyclist, a 14-year-old Pleasantville resident, was taken to AtlantiCare Trauma Center and then airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center, police said.

A 25-year-old Atlantic City woman, who was driving the car, was uninjured, police said.
Police said that speed is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
