Victim in Fatal Accident in Galloway Identified

The pedestrian who was killed while walking on Route 30 in Galloway on Monday afternoon has been identified as Galloway resident Melissa A. Kriss.

Kriss was walking on Route 30 around 4:32 p.m. when she was hit by Steven Mills, 46, of Pleasantville, who was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima east on Route 30.

Kriss was pronounced dead on the scene.

The road was closed for about three hours while responding emergency responders cleared the scene.
