Woman Dead After Absecon Bay Boating Accident: Report

ABSECON, NJ — A 56-year-old woman died Monday morning after a boating accident in Absecon Bay, according to a report.

Lisa M. Maxey, of Bridgeton, was on a 20-foot power boat with four others when the boat capsized, the Press of Atlantic City reported.

The other four on board were accounted for, the report said.

New Jersey State Police were called at about 8 a.m., the report said. NJSP are currently investigating the accident, according to the report.

It is currently unknown how the boat capsized or if anyone else was injured, according to the report.
