Woman Sentenced For Dealing Drugs In Atlantic City: Feds
Rajeri Curry, 33, was sentenced after she was convicted of two drug distribution offenses, the Department of Justice said.
CAMDEN, NJ — An Atlantic City woman was sentenced in federal court for drug distribution offenses, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Rajeri Curry, 33, was sentenced to 18 years in prison and three years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
She was previously convicted of one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl and one count of possession with intent to distribute heroinafter a nine-day trial in Camden federal court, Sellinger said.

On Jan. 17, 2018, officers searched Curry's house, finding heroin stamped with the words "DOA" and "BODY COUNT," which she intended to distribute to her Atlantic City customers, Sellinger said.
Also, between March and June 2018, Curry conspired with Newark drug suppliers to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, Sellinger said.

Sellinger credited special agents of the DEA’s Newark Office, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Susan A. Gibson, officers from the Atlantic City Police Department, under the direction of Acting Chief James A. Sarkos, and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, with the investigation leading to the sentencing.
