1-Month Closure Of Berlin-Cross Keys Rd. Begins: What Drivers Should Know
It will be closed 24/7 as the county widens the roadway. Expect delays, and check out the detour route.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The month-long closure of a lengthy stretch of Berlin-Cross Keys Road began this week. And drivers who normally use the well-traveled roadway should plan ahead, officials said.
Until Dec. 21, Berlin-Cross Keys Road will be closed in both directions between the Camden County Technical School's Gloucester Township campus (343 Berlin-Cross Keys Rd.) and Turnersville Road. The closure allows Camden County to continue widening and adding lanes to the 1.25-mile stretch of roadway.
Gloucester Township police shared the detour route: Erial Road to Erial Clementon Road to Turnersville Road.

Local traffic will be permitted, but no vehicular traffic is allowed east of the Camden County Technical School. The school's attendees can access it from Cross Keys at Kearsley Road, police said.
The project, which began in September 2022, will widen a 1.25-mile stretch of Berlin-Cross Keys Road to two lanes in either direction, with a center turning lane. The impacted stretch of roadway runs through Gloucester Township, Winslow Township and Pine Hill.
