Armed Robbery, Stolen Vehicle Under Investigation In Camden County: Police
The victim was a food-delivery driver, according to authorities.
GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — A knife-brandishing armed robber stole a food-delivery driver's vehicle Sunday night in Gloucester City, authorities said. Police continue to seek the suspect and investigate the incident.
Officers went to the 700 block of Division Street for a reported robbery, according to the Gloucester City Police Department. Law enforcement determined that the delivery driver was carjacked at knifepoint.
A customer placed an order at an out-of-town restaurant. When the driver arrived to deliver the food, a male produced a knife and demanded money from the victim, police said. The driver said he had no money, so the male stole the victim's vehicle and fled the area, according to authorities.
