Camden County Board of Elections Has Extended Hours On Final Day Of Voting Registration; Early Voting Center Opens

Oct. 18 is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general elections.

The Camden County Board of Elections will be open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, the last day residents can register to vote before the Nov. 8 general elections.

The office is located at 100 University Court in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.

Residents can also register to vote by downloading the application at camdencounty.com, but all applications must be in by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Additionally, county officials announced the opening of an early voting center in the Camden County Elections and Archives Center, located at 100 University Court in Gloucester Township.

“I invite Camden County residents to visit our early voting center in Gloucester Township. It is a one-stop shop for election-rated matters,” Camden County Clerk Joseph Ripa said. “This is a convenient way to avoid the rush of Election Day and know that you had your voice heard in the upcoming election.”

The Camden County early voting center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The center is also offering the following extended hours:

  • October 18: 9am to 7pm
  • October 20: 9am to 7pm
  • October 25: 9am to 7pm
  • October 27: 9am to 7pm
  • October 31: 7am to 7pm
  • November 2: 7am to 7pm
  • November 4: 7am to 7pm
  • November 5: 9am to 3pm

On Election Day, polls will be open 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

Click here for vote by mail applications. The deadline to apply for Vote By Mail forms to be received in the mail is 4 p.m. on Nov. 1. The deadline to apply for Vote By Mail forms in person is 3 p.m. on Nov. 7.

In addition to the presidential election, Democrat Donald Norcross is running for re-election in the First Congressional District against Republican Bob Patterson, Libertarian William F. Sihr IV and independents Scott John Tomaszewski and Michael Berman.

Two three-year seats on the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders are also up for grabs, as Democrats Edward T. McDonnell and Carmen G. Rodriguez run against Republicans Robert Stone and Claire H. Gustafson.
