Man, Parents Killed In Crash Were Heading To Greek Festival, Family Says
Peter Ramoundos and his parents were killed in Sunday's accident on Sicklerville Road.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — An effort is underway to help pay for the funerals of three family members who were killed in a head-on collision in Gloucester Township Sunday night. Peter Ramoundos, 43, and his parents, 80-year-old Anastasia Ramoundos and 77-year-old Demetrious Ramoundos were killed when their car collided with another car head-on on Sicklerville RoadSunday evening.
The Ramoundos were headed to the Greek Agora Festival at the time of the accident, according to a GoFundMe page that was launched to help pay for the funerals.
His uncle Jack Kalogridis, 59 of Gloucester Township, and aunt Betty Kalogridis, 74 of Williamstown, who were in the car, are in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the other car, 53-year-old Richard Mason, was also killed in the accident. The drivers of the two cars lived on the same street in Winslow Township.
“Peter is survived by his niece - Anastasia (Jack's daughter) who resided with the family,” according to the Friends of Peter Ramoundos GoFundMe page. Peter was the main income source for his family. Funeral expenses are very expensive to say the least, but I cannot imagine having to pay for 3 along with hospital expenses. This is a wonderful family that has touched many lives.”

Members of Mason’s family told nj.com he was just beginning to show progress after grieving for his wife, who died of cancer eight years ago. The music lover and Navy Reserves veteran was headed to work at Tractor Supply Co. in Sicklerville at the time of the crash. He had been working there for about a month.
The cause of Sunday evening's crash remains under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Crash Investigation Team.
