GTPD Releases Photo, Description of Suspicious Van, Suspects Who Approached Girls
The van approached the girls on Chews Landing Road by Little Gloucester Road on Sunday.

Gloucester Township Police provided additional information on a suspicious van that approached two juvenile females earlier this week.
The father reported that an older model, white, Ford Conversion van with two white men inside approached his daughters as they played in a field adjacent to their home on Chews Landing Road by Little Gloucester Road around 2:19 p.m. on Sunday.
He said the van was all white, with blue trim, dark tinted windows and possibly having New Jersey License plates.

On Thursday, police provided a photo of the van and a further description. The photo is attached to this post.
It was all white, with a darker blue trim, a blue spare tire cover matching the trim and tinted windows.

The vehicle was also reported to have a star sticker on the rear door and may be missing paint or have rust spots above the passenger side window. The van has New Jersey registration with the two of the characters being “X” and “L” (unknown placement within the set of characters).
Police also provided additional descriptions of the two white men who were inside and motioned to the girls before realizing they had been seen by the father.
The driver was described as a white male wearing all dark clothing.
The passenger was described as a white male with brown eyes and dark brown hair. He was reportedly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black wool type ski hat. The passenger was also reportedly smoking a cigarette.
The father was in his garage when he noticed the van was stopped in the road.
He began approaching the van when it abruptly took off toward Somerdale Road.
