Here's One Place Kids Can Get COVID-19 Vaccine In Camden County

The CDC announced its recommendation for the COVID-19 vaccine in children aged 6 months and older on June 18.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Camden County Health Department began offering the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday to kids aged 6 months and older at the Camden County Health Hub at the Blackwood Campus of Camden County College, officials said.

Those wishing their child to get the COVID-19 vaccine should make an appointment by visiting www.CamdenCountyVaccine.com, a Camden County spokesperson said. Generally speaking, appointments are available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays, the spokesperson said.

"We know that vaccines are our best tool to fight against this insidious virus and now some of the most vulnerable will be able to be protected. So, if you are the parent of a child in this age group, please consider getting them vaccinated," said Camden County Commissioner Commissioner Louis Cappelli Jr.

Getting children vaccinated "gives us the ability to be one giant step closer to a post-pandemic world," he added.
