Highland Regional High School Shows Support for Gloucester Township Police

The show of support came in the wake of police shootings in Dallas and Louisiana.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Highland Regional High School is showing its support for local police.

School employee Denise Wolf delivered cookies and dessert trays to the Gloucester Township Police Department Monday morning.

The desserts were accompanied by a letter, and came courtesy Principal Beth Petite and the entire school staff.

The letter read:

“The administration, staff and students would like to thank you for all you do for our school and our community. We appreciate the work and sacrifice you make every day.”

The delivery came one day after three police officers were shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and about a week after 12 officers were shot in Dallas, Texas.

“This show of support is greatly appreciated during these trying times for the law enforcement family,” police said.
