Why are you running for Gloucester Township Council? I wanted to get involved in my community. I want to be an active participant that helps navigate the direction of our community.

Have you ever held public office? No

Why do you feel you are qualified to serve as a member of the Gloucester Township Council? I have lived in the township for 15 years with my family and I have a vested interest in its success. I have worked closely with the public in Gloucester Township for 15 years and have always had their best interest at heart. There are several skills that are needed for this position. I have acquired many of these skills from hands on experience with the many families I work with on a daily basis.

In your opinion, what is the biggest issue currently facing Gloucester Township, and how should council deal with the issue? I think the biggest issue currently facing not only Gloucester Township, but surrounding townships, is the number of homes that have been vacated by families facing difficult financial circumstances. I think it is important to develop a program to maintain vacant properties so that surrounding properties maintain value.

What do you feel is Gloucester Township’s biggest asset at this time? How would you exploit that asset to the township’s benefit? I feel the biggest asset at this time are the Premium Outlets. I would exploit that asset by supporting the outlets with restaurants, and other venues that may spur the growth of that community.

What are some of the things council currently does that you feel could be done differently, and how would you make improvements? As a community member I think communication is always key to maintain an informed constituency. This can always be enhanced to allow the flow of information to maintain its integrity.

In what ways do you believe council is doing a good job for the residents of Gloucester Township? I believe that the township offers solid services and great activities for our youth.
