GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The largest hepatitis vaccine initiative in the history
of New Jersey has entered phase 2 as officials attempt to quell an outbreak linked to Starbucks at 1490 Blackwood-Clementon Road in Gloucester Township.

This outreach is intended for the 800 customers who received the hepatitis A vaccine nearly 6 months ago, after a case of hepatitis A was identified in an employee at the coffee shop, the county said.

"If you were one of those residents who received a dose of the vaccine back in November, it’s imperative that you come to get your second one," Camden County Commissioner Carmen Rodriguez said in a press release. "Like many other vaccines, the hepatitis A vaccine relies on that second dose to provide full protection to the recipient so please, make an appointment as soon as you can."
