Verizon Offers $10K Reward In Cherry Hill Vandalism Incidents
Police and Verizon are asking for the public's help to find whoever is cutting Verizon lines in three South Jersey towns.
CHERRY HILL, NJ - Verizon is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of whoever is cutting their fiber-optic and copper communications lines in three South Jersey communities, including Cherry Hill.
Someone deliberately cut the lines in Evesham Township overnight on Jan. 5 and Feb. 23, resulting in the loss of phone and internet access for hundreds of residents, police said.
In Cherry Hill, there were two incidents in March and one on April 29, on Springdale Road, 6 ABC reports. Incidents have also been reported in Shamong, but it isn’t clear when those took place.

There have been a total of about 10 incidents, according to CBS 3. Police believe the culprit may be a former employee.
