2 Possible Luring Incidents Reported In Gloucester Township This Weekend: Police

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Police say two incidents in which an adult man attempted to lure a juvenile girl over the weekend appear to be unrelated.

The first incident occurred in the area of Stonebridge Drive in the Terrestria development. The man approached the girl and repeatedly asked her if she needed a ride. Eventually, the man drove away on Sicklerville Road toward Garwood Road.

The man is described as white, late 40, early 50 years of age, brown eyes, with chin facial hair.

The vehicle is described as an older model white "box style" sedan with a blue/black colored stripe or molding that wrapped around the entire vehicle.

The second incident was reported on Sunday, in the area of Winding Way, Cherrywood development. Again, a man asked a juvenile girl if she needed a ride. The girl in this incident said she has seen the man in the same area several times in the past, but was never approached.

The girl said she was waiting for a school bus on Winding Way near Lawncrest Lane. She said the car left, and proceeded on Winding Way toward College Drive.

The man in this incident is described as a heavy set Middle Eastern man, 50 years of age with dark hair. He also had a Middle Eastern accent. The vehicle is described as a newer model red sedan with tinted back windows and headlights, but he has also been seen driving an older dark gray minivan with tinted windows and numbers on the top of the windshield in the past.
