Suspect In Gloucester Township Bank Robbery Hits Two More Banks In South Jersey: Prosecutor

He was armed with a black handgun in the two most recent robberies.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- A man police are looking for in connection with a Gloucester Township bank robbery is now wanted in two more bank robberies in Camden County.

The two latest bank robberies took place on Wednesday at the TD Bank on the Black Horse Pike in Bellmawr, followed by the BB&T Bank on the White Horse Pike in Lawnside, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday morning.

In these incidents, the man was said to be carrying a black semi-automatic handgun when he demanded money from the tellers.

He received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. No one was injured.

He was not reported to have had a weapon when he robbed the TD Bank located at 601 College Drive in the Blackwood section of the township at about 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 6.

In that incident, he demanded money from the teller before once again fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in that incident either.

He is described as a white man, about 5’ 8,” 150 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap and a white t-shirt.

He was last seen leaving in a two-door, black colored, Mitsubishi (possibly a Lancer) with a rear spoiler. A partial license plate number, unknown state, (XA 787) was supplied by a witness.

Members of the public should not attempt to apprehend this suspect, but should call 911 immediately if they see him.
