Who Will Represent Gloucester Twp.? New Federal, State Districts
The Census brings change to congressional and state legislative districts because of population shifts. See the new districts.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The completion of the 2020 Census means it is time for the 10-year change in federal and state legislative districts, and those changes affect who represents which towns in every county in New Jersey.
Redistricting is meant to balance the number of people represented by each member of the House of Representatives and each member of the New Jersey Legislature, by adjusting to the population shifts in the state map.
Here's a look at which districts encompass Gloucester Township now, ahead of the coming primary elections in June and the general election in November.

Gloucester Township has been in the 1st Congressional District since 2013, which currently is represented by Democrat Donald Norcross, and it will remain there. (See the new map and the districts that change here.)
At the state level, Gloucester Township has been in the 4th Legislative District and will remain there. The 10th District is represented by Sen. Jim Holzapfel and Assemblymen Gregory McGuckin and John Catalano.

The 4th District will include: Buena, Buena Vista, Chesilhurst, Gloucester Township, Waterford, Winslow, Franklin, Monroe, Newfield, and Washington Township.
