Darlene Tranquilli is The Pioneer & Guiding Light of Dementia Care. She is a certified Dementia Practitioner and Care Manager as well as a certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. She is the founder and CEO of Living Dementia Education & Training Institute as well as the founder and CEO of Selah Residental Dementia Care & Adult Day and Adult Care Centers. She is a member of the National Council of Certified Care Practitioners and has her certifications as follows: CDP, CDCM, CADDCT, COTP, CFRDT, Virtual Dementia Tour Trainer®, Dementia Capable Care Specialist.
Darlene is a full-time care-partner meeting the needs of residents and members who attend Selah Adult Care in Hackettstown, NJ. The residents reside at the Selah Residential Dementia Group Home located in Belvidere, NJ. This is a licensed and Medicaid approved facility.
Dementia is not an illness we can ignore. It has a devastating impact on the people who develop it, as well as the families who care for them. Our society and the needs of those surrounding us are changing every day because of this devastating disease.
