Ustad Shafaat Khan, world-renowned classical Indian musician, debuted at the age of 11 in the King's Lynn Festival opened by the Queen Mother. Since then he has performed worldwide at many prestigious concert halls, music festivals, universities in India, Pakistan, Japan, Russia, China, Malaysia, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and other European countries.    Ustad Shafaat Khan will be performing on the Centenary Stage Company with internationally acclaimed virtuoso musicianship on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Khan has mastered such classical Indian instruments as the Sitar, Surbahar and Tabla, and will be joined on stage by accompanying musicians, Richi Mehrotra and Layla Plaza.
