Three students from the Hackettstown area are heading to the 27th annual <a href="http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/breaking-news/index.ssf/2013/03/regional_final_of_scripps_nati.html#incart_river_default" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">regional final of the Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday, and will face off against a field of 45</a> more vocabulary experts, according to lehighvalleylive.com. The competition will see students from Northampton, Lehigh, Warren and Hunterdon counties give it their all for a chance to compete in one of the year's most popular academic challenges. According to the report, Jacob DeGregoris of Great Meadows Middle School; Kayezhia Alviola of Hackettstown Middle School; and Shannon Vitale of Mansfield Township Elementary School will represent the Hackettstown area. The event is being held at Northampton Community College at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
