St. Pat's Parade Grand Marshal Named
Hackettstown BID's fifth annual event set for March 10.
Preparations for the Hackettstown Business Improvement District's fifth annual St. Patrick's Day Parade are well underway, and one of the biggest decisions has just been announced.
Centenary College President Dr. Barbara-Jayne Lewthwaite has been named to lead the town-wide event in a press release from the Hackettstown BID. Lewthwaite has served as the school's leader since May 15, 2009, the release said.
The event begins at 3:30 p.m. and kicks off at the corner of Grand Avenue and Washington Street. The parade route heads down Main Street, veers right onto Mountain Avenue and ends at the gates of Union Cemetary, across from Quick Check.
