Students Create Centenary Homage for Parade

College students are building a float for Hackettstown's St. Patrick's Day festivities.

College is a time for higher learning, partying, and growing as an adult.

It's also the perfect time to build a float for the town's biggest event of the year.

That's why students from the Centenary College theater department have come together to build a float for Sunday's St. Patrick's Day Parade that will travel down Main Street in Hackettstown, according to a report in nj.com.

The parade's Grand Marshal is Centenary College President Dr. Barbara Jayne Lewthwaite. This is the fifth consecutive year Hackettstown has held the parade.

at 3 p.m. on March 10.
