Arrest Made In Haddon Township Home Burglary: Police

Ted E. Cook II, 45, of Trenton, was arrested in the home burglary that took place in July in the Westmont section of Haddon Township.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Trenton man has been arrested and charged with a home burglary that took place in Haddon Township in July, police announced. The burglary occurred on Saturday, July 7, at just after 9 a.m., in the first block of Strawbridge Avenue. Detectives were aided in the investigation by residential surveillance video.

Ted E. Cook II, 45, was arrested in Camden on Aug. 22, according to the Haddon Township Police Department. During the arrest and subsequent search of his home, police said they found items stolen from a home that was burglarized in the Westmont section of the township last month.

Cook was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional pending a preliminary hearing in Superior Court.
